On Sunday, it was officially my two years in Toronto. I hung out with my friend Janet and we watched Inside Out. I didn’t exactly celebrate but I thought Inside Out would be the perfect movie to watch. I’ve been excited to see this movie ever since the first trailer and reviews started to come out.

Since moving to Toronto, there still has been the constant doubts if I made the right decision, being homesick and just a lot of days where I feel like an emotional mess. No, I don’t need help. I am just a 27 year old woman that just had to grow up and make decisions that I didn’t think I would need to make until later. Yes, I am living in Toronto for only 2 years with a few friends and my family and everyone I know are back home in Vancouver! I’m a woman. So, yes I am already more emotional than usual but there is nothing wrong with that! Let’s hope for more years in Toronto or who knows maybe I will move to New York soon. Cheers with bubble tea. (I didn’t manage to get any alcohol that day).

So, a movie with a whole bunch of ’emotions’ and how they all work in your brain. Plus a heartwarming family story that in a way is similar to myself moving to Toronto. PERFECT! I am definitely a bit of both ‘Joy’ and ‘Sadness’. Plus, what is great about being in Toronto: My anniversary is also the day of MMVA and even more festivals and events happening in the city! This is what I live and breath and summer!
